starożytnym Rzymie, 14 lutego obchodzono Dzień Płodności i Macierzyństwa. Św. Walenty, który tam żył, za
panowania cesarza Klaudiusza II, około 270 roku, złamał zakaz zawierania
małżeństw i potajemnie udzielał ślubów, za co został skazany na śmierć. Na pożegnanie
napisał list... pierwszą walentynkę. Egzekucję wykonano 14 lutego 269
roku. Zgodnie z decyzją papieża Gelazjusza I, od roku 496, 14 lutego jest
obchodzony jako Dzień św. Walentego, patrona zakochanych.
Dziś,
całe szczęście, sami decydujemy czy święto zakochanych mamy codziennie, czy
tylko raz w roku, czy w ogóle.

February 14th in ancient Rome celebrated
the Day of Motherhood and Fertility. St.
Valentine lived there during
the reign of Emperor Claudius II, in 270, broke the prohibition of marriage and
secretly presided over a wedding. He has been sentenced to death and has
written a letter to say goodbye ... first
valentine card. The
execution was performed on February 14th, in 269. Following the
decision of the Pope Gelasius I, from the year 496, February 14th is
celebrated as the Day of St. Valentine, the patron saint of lovers.
Fortunately, today is possible to decide when you want
to celebrate the love – every day, once a year or not at all.

Gdybym mówił językami ludzi i aniołów, a miłości bym nie
